Drupes

From the agronomic point of view, trees that grow drupes are characterized by some homogeneity for what concerns cultivation techniques, mostly centered around water administration. In summer, when the fruits are ripening, these trees need more water, especially in sultry months. Currently, traditional techniques involve drip-system or surface irrigation. On the one hand these allow a consistent distribution of water in the soil, but on the other hand they cause stagnation and resource consumption.
Thanks to the multi-area control and its new algorithm, Agrismart allows to save more on water cost and makes the farmer work even more efficient. Data gathered in the Magico platform from the unit on the field make managing the crop easier and increase its output and quality.

Pathogens that can be monitored:

  • Peach leaf curl (Taphrina deformans)
  • Shot hole disease (Coryneum beyerinckii)
  • Peach scab (Cladosporium carpophilum)
  • Leukostoma canker (Cytospora spp.)
  • Monilinia (Monilinia Laxa and M. Fructigena)

Parameters detected by the unit:

  • Solar radiations (W/m 2)
  • Precipitation (mm)
  • Soil humidity (a due livelli)
  • Foliar wetting
  • External and soil temperature (two levels)
  • Cold hours (number)
